3RD ANNUAL "HALF 4 HAITI"
SOLIDARITY RUN
We made it!! :)
The 3rd Annual "HALF 4 HAITI" Solidarity Run was a rousing success! Our dear friend Sol Rubio ran her first Half Marathon ever and finished strong. Miss Emma and Luke completed their first 5K's, Leisa ran her first 5K in a decade, and yours truly (Paul) survived, too. I'm pretty sure none of us qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics, but we all had a blast and we raised some money for Children's Hope's very worthy projects in Haiti. Thank you all so much for your generosity and solidarity. If you have not yet paid your pledge, please do so as soon as you are able. If you haven't pledged yet, no worries, it's not too late, you can still pitch in. Either way, please send your tax deductible donation to:
Children's Hope

Cameron Park, CA 95682
Proceeds from the "Half 4 Haiti Solidarity Run" will go towards Children's Hope's Haiti projects, including...
Mabe Orphanage, Port au Prince
These are the Mabe kids who we have fallen in love with and have watched grow up over the last few years. They were taken in off the streets by our dear friend Maco and his family, and are being raised in a loving environment. But they have very few resources. No electricity, no running water, no toilets.
The Lamp for Haiti Clinic, Cite Soleil

Many hands make the burden lighter! :)
